Pvd coating - classy look, better quality and the best possible resilience

The new PVD coating was an easy decision to make, since the classic powder coating was showing major flaws like chipping and scratching, we decided for the best of our customers, with this type of coating the flaws are no longer a thing.

What is PVD Coating

To explain what is PVD first let’s do a recap of the powder coating, it’s a mist of powder putten onto a piece of metal and then put into a furnace to make the powder into liquid and integrate onto the piece, as opposite the PVD coating, the part is put directly into the furnace and the layer is integrated into the part by a vacuum seal.

Another difference between powder and PVD coating, is the amount of colours that can be chosen, due to the high technology and being new, there is only a certain amount of colours that can be decided, with that the once we have available in our store are the most comment and in high demand, like the classy Brass, the priceless Gold and the classic Black.
