Linear drain

Can I install it in wet room tiled floor?

Dear Pamela,

Premium drains are designed to be installed in wet room tiled floors. Please notice that the distance from the stainless steel flange surrounding the drain, integrated for sealing purposes, to the top edge of vertical frame is 15 mm, so is the maximum thickness for your tiles plus adhesive and insulation. 8 - 12 mm is the optimal tile thickness for this drain type.

Please notice that you need to create your own slope in your shower to make sure water is not pooling on the floor and we recommend to have at least 150 mm from left, right and upper drain edge to the walls. Alternatively if you don't want to worry about this you might take a look at our Showerlay Line wet room kits drain range, with this drain already integrated and waterproofed.

Kind regards,

David

Hi, Can these be installed on a computer floor system? (RAF)

Hello,

I can confirm that those drains are compatible with any floor type installation, where they can be installed flushed with it. That is, concrete, timber and raised access flooring, as long as there is sufficient space under for the waste trap (shallowest one is 46 mm - the Snake trap).

VF drains specifically are designed for vinyl floor coverings, including safety flooring.

I will be happy to help if you have any questions.

Kind regards,

David 0800 368 9956

Bought shower tray for wet room gully has 50 mm drain hole what do you recommend for a waste drain bearing in mind the channel on the tray you sold me us is narrow

Hello Denis,

Thank you for your question.

We have multiple waste traps compatible with our trays. You ordered the shallowest one with 26 l/min of flow rate.

There are various traps, some of them with greater throughput and water seal but slightly more height.

Let me know what kind of technical property you're interested in and I will reply what't the best option in that case.

Kind regards

What fitting to connect onto a DN50 shower trap

Hello Peter,

We supply an adapter to every trap that allows you to connect the DN50 outlet to 40 mm waste.

We do also have traps that are 40 mm in diameter and do not require any adapters.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

David 020 7193 0953

What type of connection can I use to connect a 50mm plastic waste pipe to the metal trap on this linear drain.

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

This drain is supplied with an adapter allowing to connect it to standard 40 mm pipe diameter.

If you are having any difficulties with fitting that drain, we have similar product, with plastic waste trap.

Hi just read the installation instructions, could you expand on this section 9 , “Distance from the shower tray surface to the top edge of vertical drain frame is 15 mm, so if you need to build up that space, use tile backer boards”. Is that he . . .

Hello,

That's correct. There's 15 mm of distance from the surface of the tray to the upper edge of the tray. It's fixed and cannot be adjusted. Most of the tiles are 8 - 12mm, therefore adding a bit of tile adhesive should bring the tiles to the frame level.

If your tiles are really shallow, there are 2 solutions. First using tile backer boards of appropriate thickness and cutting it according to the shape of the slopes on the tray or using Showerlay Invisible. That type of tray doesn't have any restriction for finish material thickness and will accept thick and shallow tiles as well as marble or stone.

I will be happy to help in case of any questions.

Kind regards David

FOR THE LINEAR DRAIN, HOW CAN I ORDER A PLAIN TILABLE COVER, AND A SCIRROCO VERSION TOO ON LINE PLS?

Dear Julie,

I would like to confirm that grating patterns are interchangeable and can be swapped even after installation is done. There's even possibility to have multiple covers for a single channel.

At the moment it is not possible to order gratings separately on our website, please contact us and we'll prepare an offer for you.

We will need delivery address, billing address (if different) and then we'll send you link for payment.

If you have any questions please contact me.

David 020 7193 0953

Can these be used for vinyl?

Dear Dave,

I can confirm that these drains are suitable for vinyl floor covering. Please notice that Invisible drain, including it's grate needs to be covered with your finish entirely.

For your information this drain doesn't have clamp - mechanical locking system. It needs to be stuck to the drain with adhesive that connects PVC to stainless steel.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions please let me know.

Can the linear drain be lift up for cleaning the hair etc?

Dear Customer,

I can confirm that the grating can be lifted up after installation is over, to access the siphon trap from above for cleaning. It can be simply opened and standard bathroom cleaning detergents can be used.

Linear drain channel is already integrated and waterproofed so it cannot be moved, however grating is removable part.

If you have any questions I am here to help.

David 020 7193 0953

Does the linear drain come in longer lengths other than 800mm

Dear Customer,

The Sieme Stone drain range is available from 500 to 1200 mm as a standard and we can also create a custom length drain with increased total price and delivery time. Please let us know what's the length you're interested in and I will provide an exact quote. You can access all Sieme Stone standard lengths here:

Hi I was wondering if any of these linear gulleys will be compatible with a vinyl flooring for wetroom many thanks

Dear Customer,

We've got drains that are suitable for vinyl floor, they don't feature clamp, mechanical locking system but you need to fix them to the drain using adhesive. There's one limit, entire drain, including the grating needs to be covered with you vinyl. Entire room needs to be waterproofed after the drain is fitted, this can be done with the waterproofing kit.

Suitable drains are called Invisible and are available here:

https://wetroomsdesign.co.uk/linear-drains-for-vinyl-floor

If you have any questions I will be happy to help.

What is the best way to connect a pvc 50mm pipe to the smart trap of the Elite Ponente?

Dear Customer,

The best way to connect PVC 50 mm pipe to Elite Ponente steel outlet is to use plastic to steel translation fitting. It can be either threaded end compression fitting or weld-end fitting. Your plumber should decide which is the best for your pipework.

If you have any other questions I will be happy to help.

Are your Showerlay Wiper shower trays suitable for a Vinyl Floor finish?

Dear Customer,

Only Showerlay Wiper Invisible are suitable for vinyl floor covering. Other shower trays have vertical frame of 15 mm, so you would need to accomodate that space (best with tile backer boards) to bring it to the frame level, so vinyl sheet is flushed with the drain. If you are able to do this, then you can use any Showerlay, if not, only Showerlays with Invisible drain will be suitable for you.

I need a drain that the trap is located on left Do you do them? If not can this one be fitted...?http://mcalpineplumbing.com/wet-room-products/channel-and-tile-drains/cd600-bc-standard-channel-drain

Dear Customer,

Our standard drains have outlet centred between it's edges. If you wish to receive offset waste we could create a custom product for you. It would be more expensive and would take more time to deliver (as we would need to produce it) but it's possible. If you're interested please send us an email to shop@wetroomsdesign.co.uk with distance from one end to the desired centre outlet.

I am happy to help if you have any questions.

David 020 7193 0953

Hi. Do you sell the drains on there own without a trap please as we would need 2 drains but only one trap. Thank you

Dear Customer,

I can confirm that we can supply drains without a trap (we would sell it to you with a normal price, then refund the waste trap price - £20), however we cannot confirm that another supplier's waste will be suitable for our drain and our drain will not work without a proper waste so you need to make sure you will be able to use our unit.

Please contact me and I will help to place the order over the phone.

Kind regards

I intend to order a Showerlay Wiper 1000 x 1000 mm Line Pure (plus kit) next Tuesday. I am awaiting the plumber's decision as to the thickness required. If I order the tray by midday on Tuesday, will you be able to get it to me on Wednesday?

Dear Customer,

I can confirm that this product is available with next day delivery, therefore if you order it on Tuesday before 3 o'clock, we will ship it same day and it will be delivered on Wednesday.

Regarding thicknesses - basically biggest difference between each thickness is the slope - thicker shower tray is steeper. For timber flooring, we recommend 20 mm thick board, as the floor boards usually are 20 mm thick, and by fitting shower tray of the same thickness you can avoid increasing total height of the rest of the floor.

I am happy to assist if you have any questions.

I need linear drain for wet room. Suitable for mounting on wooden floor with support beams and tanked plywood. The Premium Sirocco looks a good choice, but it doesn't have mounting feet. How do you advise supporting? Thanks.

Hello,

Premium Sirocco is the most popular and most versatile drainage type suitable for wet room. We also carry largest amount of them in our warehouse so they are available for quick delivery.

They do come as a complete product with all parts included. Adjustable feet are always added to the product. If installed on timber flooring it probably doesn't require adjustable feet. You could just cut the hole in the ply and insert the drain there.

Kind regards,

David

I have a white resin floor + I want the linear drain to look as invisible as possible - can resin be used instead of tiles? it is only 3mm thick but could more be poured in?

Dear Customer,

Is your resin floor covering? You could install our drains with it, but please notice that ones designed to be installed in wet rooms have stainless steel flange (for waterproofing purposes). Distance from that flange to the upper edge of the frame is 15 mm, so you would need to accommodate that space (with tile backer boards for example).

If you were able to bring the resin up to the frame level then yes, you could use our drains with resin flooring.

I am happy to help if you have any questions.

Does the drain come with drain cover and trap? Or do I have to buy this separate

Hello,

We sell are complete, they come with stainless steel channel, suitable grate and McAlpine waste trap included. You don't need to buy anything separately. You will receive everything you need to fit it straight after unpacking.

There's optional product available to be included to them - Waterproofing kit. Normally it costs £99 / 3 m2˛ but when included to the drain or tray price is reduced to £59 per kit. It's very useful especially for timber flooring.

I am happy to help in case of any questions.

Can this be tiled onto?

Hello,

Yes, this drain is both suitable for tiled floor and tilng the grating.

It is the most universal product type, it will accept variety of finish materials, from vinyl to stone and marble.

There's restriction though - it has to be covered with that material entirely (including the cover).

Hello, can this product be joined to make longer lengths ? we have a 2m wide wet room we need to put a slot drain along. Thanks Andy

Dear Andy,

Thank you for your question.

This drain is available in range from 500 to 1200 mm as a standard, off-the-shelf with quick delivery and is relatively cheap.

We could manufacture custom bespoke drain, which can be 2000 mm or even much more, it can be same as this drain but longer, but it would have increased price and delivery time (would need to be produced first).

For 2000 mm wide wet room, there are few options regarding the drain length:

1. You could go for 1200 mm drain and create slopes from every corner of the room to every corner of the drain (diagonal), so no matter where the water drops it will always flow towards that drain.

2. Custom 1700 mm drain. If you accept diagonal cuts of tiles (pattern similar to an envelope once the installation is over), we recommend to have at least 150 mm from the wall the the drain's edge.

3. Custom 2000 mm drain - same length as the room size, in such case you would have only a single or two-way slope, however fitting would be more complicated.

Maybe it would be good idea to have a look at our pre-sloped wet room kit, with sizes up to 900 x 1850 and possibility to have custom size too, up to 1200 x 2000 mm.

Please contact me which way to proceed you prefer and I will prepare you a quote.

Kind regards

Hi, do you have a specification for this item?

Dear customer,

This linear drains are made of 304 S 15 grade stainless steel which offers good corrosion resistance to both chemical and atmospheric exposures, with a high resistance to oxidation. The drain come in length of 500 mm in brush surface finish. The set includes linear drain body integrated with stainless steel frame and collar, sealing membrane, drain cover, adjustable legs and siphon trap.

The frame protects tiles from deforming and tiles from cracking, so it should be a long-lasting solution at the same time. This type of cover is designed to be filled with tiles for finishing, so the cover is just a container that holds them. Shower channel has a central outlet.

More specifications for this drain:

  • Length (X): 500 [mm]
  • Height of channel (C): 30 [mm]
  • Height to the centre of waste pipe (G): 65 [mm] (can be adjusted)
  • Total height (H): 100 [mm]
  • Height to the top from collar (T): 15 [mm]
  • Height of tiles (A): 14 [mm]
  • Width of tiles (D): 50 [mm]
  • Total width with collar (F): 109 [mm]
  • Width of channel (Y): 70 [mm]
  • Complete siphon, pipe diameter: 1.5" (british standard size),
  • Pipe height adjustable and rotatable at 360°,
  • Drain's cover included.
  • Tile channel depth (A): 12 [mm]
  • Tile channel width (D): 60 mm [mm]

All information for this product can be found on its page by going down in the individual tabs.

In case of any further questions, I will be happy to assist.

Can the 60mm deep drain be placed snugly against the walls, with the tile backer board sitting on top of the flange. Can the drain be set on a slightly lower screed bed along the width and length of the drain, can this be an alternative to the legs . . .

Hello,

Drain is surrounded by 20 mm wide flange. If your tile backing boards are 20 mm thick, then yes, you should be able to fit the drain right against the wall and fit the backing boards in between the wall and drain grate. In addition we are able to manufacture custom drain with upstand flange, however unlike standard products available on our website it can take 6-10 business days to have it manufactured and delivered. Let me know if you're interested in such solution.

Regarding feet - they are not attached by default and are especially useful for timber flooring. If you don't require you can use for instance some cement to position them in the right spot and then proceed to screeding.

I am happy to help if you have any questions.

Kind regards David

What's the difference between this and the Ponente?

Dear Customer,

Invisible drain is suitable for the following materials: marble, vinyl floor, gres, hardened glass or exotic wood. In this drain, the level of the grating and the flange is the same, flush with the floor. There's no limit to the thickness of the finishing material. However, the surface of the drain must always be covered with some finishing material.

Regarding shower tray with the Premium Ponente drain, the grating and the flange aren't on the same level. There's a 15 mm difference between them and the grating itself is the final look, because it shouldn't be covered with finishing material. This is perfect drain for tiled floors, with tiles of standard thickness due to the lip, thanks to which you can nicely and easily finish the edges between the flange and the cover. Ponente is plain stainless steel pattern without any holes, solid bar of brushed steel.

If you have any questions I will be happy to assist.

Hello,

We do have 30 days unconditional return right - if you receive the item and don't like it, you can just send it back to us and receive a full refund.

Linear drain Wiper 600 mm Elite Ponente Is this suitable for commercial use (gym changing roos)? and is it easy to keep clean please?

Hello,

This drain is entirely made of stainless steel so it's very solid. It's supplied with high flow rate waste trap which can take up to 38 l/min (UK building regulations require 24 l/min per shower) so should be fine for gym usage.

The grate included to the drain is liftable and after doing that waste is exposed from above, it can then be opened and easily cleaned. It's also supplied with hair trap so small items dropped into the drain won't be lost (rings for an instance).

We've actually supplied drains to gyms & schools already, that and some other model as well, we have not had any reports of failure and Customers were happy with them.

I am happy to assist if you require any additional info.

Kind regards

Is your Premium drain channel is 80 mm wide?

It is yes, please have a look at our drain comparison to see their specification at a glance.

Is that drain okay for tiled floor?

Dear Scott,

This drain is actually designed to be installed in tiled floor. It is perfect for tiles 4-14 as well as any material in similar thickness (mosaic, marble or stone).

In case your tiles are thicker please see our Invisible drain range instead.

I am happy to assist if you have any questions.

Can the drain trap be placed to the left or right of the slot or must it be placed centrally? Thanks

Dear Henry,

Our standard drains have outlet centred. It's grooved during manufacturing process and cannot be altered. Waste trap is completely rotatable and adjustable if that helps.

If you were interested in offset drain we could create bespoke product with increased delivery time and cost. Let me know the distance from drain edge to the centre of the outlet you desire and I will prepare you a quote.

Thank you very much for being interested in our offer.

Kind regards

David 020 7193 0953

Can this be installed up against a wall?

Dear Andrew,

This drain is surrounded by stainless steel flange, which extends it's size by 30 mm on all four sides. Therefore you would have a small space in between the wall and the drain's edge.

If you could gring a hole in your wall and insert the flange there then yes, it could be installed right next to the wall.

Alternatively we could supply this drain with upstand flange, this would be bespoke product, with increased price and delivery time. More details together with quote has been sent to your email address.

Hi Does the main body of this drain have weep holes built in to it? Thanks

Dear Jessica,

These drains are simple and most popular solution which is great for a regular wet room. They do not have second drainage - alternative way to have water trapped under the tiles to be drained. We do know about that, this feature is required for drainage to be installed in Scandinavia.

Our other drains - Elite - have that. They have a small gap between the vertical frame and flange surrounding them. They are more expensive though.

I am happy to assist if you have any questions.

Dave

Do the tiles when fitting to the surface have to be cut at the tangent where the fall to the drain is?

Dear John,

That's correct. You must cut your tiles according to the premachined slope on top of the tray.

There are diagonal slopes from every corner of the tray to every corner of the drain and your tiles must be cut according to that. Please see technical diagram on one of the information tab, it's shown there.

I am happy to assist if you have any questions.

David 020 7193 0953

Hi, can you offer any guidance on how to lay tiles on this product, can they be laid directly on the steel drain? Thanks

Dear James,

As I said over the phone, the biggest concern is the edges, you would need to make sure that they are not sharp and even. You can fit the tiles directly onto steel cover, it would be the best if you could use proper adhesive (PCI Collastic or Gorilla Epoxy for example). You should also have received small rectangular membrane piece that matches the cover shape. You should fix the cloth to the cover first and then tiles to the cloth. This can be done with tile adhesive.

Please find fitting instructions for Invisible drain attached to this message, it's shown there. But it's nothing complicated.

I have forwarded your query to the manufacturer and if they have anything additional interesting to say I will give you an update.

Many thanks for your order.

Kind regards

David 020 7193 0953

do you do wider channels than 84mm, i need one about 200mm by 4 mtrs.

Hello,

I am afraid we will not be able to supply wider channels. We can provide custom length drains and they could be 4000 mm or longer, however it would be equivalent of one of the standard drains available on our website. For example, Premium drain is 84 mm, we could supply it 4000 mm long. Elite is 48 mm wide, and it could be supplied in 48 x 4000 mm version.

Please notice that this is width of the cover (visible part). They are all extended by stainless steel flange which surrounds them for 30 mm or 21 mm respectively.

I am happy to assist if you have any questions.

How do you install this in timber floor

Dear Robert,

To fit this drain in timber floor you must:

1. Prepare sloped ply floor surface. Cover plywood with tile backer boards.

2. Cut a hole in the ply and the boards matching the channel shape.

3. Insert the drain into the cut hole so it sits on it's flange.

4. Put included sealing membrane onto drain's flange.

5. Waterproof the area surrounding the drain.

6. Proceed to tiling.

I am happy to assist if you have any further questions.

David 020 7193 0953

In installation of syphon trap(photos 5 & 8) silicone is mentioned as being applied, but I am not 100% sure as to where? Is it on on threads(?) of siphon outlet pipe and threads of screwdown siphon part.Any on base of trap body resting on wood support . . .

Dear Charles,

There are 2 places where silicone can be used:

- to connect outlet of the siphon trap to your waste pipes,

- to connect the waste trap to the drain. Waste trap comes with part that must be screwed in from the top of the channel and it keeps the waste trap connected to the drain.

I will send you additional email with pictures showing these parts. Please notice that silicone is optional.

Thanks for being interested in our offer.

Hi. Is this product available in chrome finish?

Dear Maciek,

The shower drain you enquired about comes with tileable grating, therefore it's almost invisible once the installation is done. You would be able to see only a frame surrounding the tiles.

The drain is made of 304 stainless steel, which means it contains 18-20% chromium. It has silver-like colour and is brushed, therefore even if scratched will still look nice.

I am happy to assist if you have any questions.

Kind regards

David 020 7193 0953

Hi there, what is the flow rate for this product? Many thanks.

Hello,

The flow rate is limited by waste trap. There are several options of waste trap we can include to this drain and depending on the type of waste included it has different technical properties.

Standard waste trap that is included to the drain is a shallow type, with only 20 mm high water seal and 26 l/min of throughput.

If you require high flow rate waste (48 l/min) or deeper water seal (up to 50 mm) we can include a different waste trap. Please call us to arrange your order over the phone or just type your comment during the checkout and we will make sure you receive a proper product. Option to choose the waste trap is soon going to be added to our website.

Kind regards

David 020 7193 0953

how does the water completely go into the drain, or will you get water sitting around the drain at the bottom of the slope as there is no angle towards the drain

Hello,

You are right to notice that there is a flat area around the drain and that some very little amount of water will just pool around it, will not flow into the channel.

However this is not a problem as it will be a minimal amount of liquid, 1-2 mm deep. Anything more than that will be drained. Remaining water can easily evaporate.

There is now way it would move away from the flat rectangular area, because it's sitting at the lowest point.

I will be happy to assist if you have any questions.

David 020 7193 0953

Does this product come in a 1600 x 1200 size? (I'm referring to the white marble stone shower tray). thanks

Hello,

Unfortunately this product is not available in such size.

The closest size available is 900 x 1600.

Kind regards

How does this come apart for cleaning?

Dear Sue,

Drain cover is liftable and it's only gravity that holds it down. There is a lifting hook included to each of our products, which makes it very easy.

After lifting the cover up waste trap is exposed which then can be opened and cleaned. Drain and waste trap have been tested and they are immune to most cleaning chemicals, even to acid cleaners.

Waste trap has a hair trap which prevents it from blocking the pipes. There also is a water seal that prevents foul smell from getting back to the shower area.

I will be happy to assist if you have any questions.

Kind regards

David 020 7193 0953

Is this product suitable for use on vinyl floor? Do you have a fitting guide?

Dear Louis,

Yes, this product is suitable with vinyl floor covering. Please notice it's not a clamp drain, therefore there's no mechanical locking system. To fit the drain you would need to waterproof the floor area and then cover entire drain, including its cover with vinyl.

I am going to send you another email with fitting instructions attached.

Kind regards

David 020 7193 0953

Can I use this in a 750mm wide tiled wetroom?

Dear Fiona,

Drain's total length is 740 and cover length (visible part after tiling) is 700 mm so the answer is yes, you can use this in 750 mm tiled wet room.

You will have 25 mm from each drain's edge to the wall which may not look the best (you will have only narrow 25 mm tile in between the drain and wall) so you also may consider going for 600 mm drain. They are available in lengths from 500 to 1200 mm.

I will be happy to assist if you have any questions.

Hi, on this product, can you change the waste, for a high flow waste? Thanks

Dear Cliff,

By default we include McAlpine waste trap with 26 l/min capacity, which exceeds building regulations which are 24 l/min and our tests have shown that a normal shower with a single shower head has usually requirement for 16-17 l/min.

If you require different waste trap, no problem, we can offer 8 waste trap types suitable for that drain. They have different flow rates, water seal height and space requirements.

You can see comparison of the options available here:

http://wetroomsdesign.co.uk/download/waste-traps-comparison.pdf

The best way to place an order with a different than default waste is to call me and I will arrange your order over the phone. It will soon be possible to change the waste before ordering the product from website directly.

Kind regards

Is the whole unit stainless steel including the trap body? Does it include a trap to stop odours from the drains? Is the unit suitable to be fitted into a new concrete floor? Thanks

Dear Nick

Yes, this specific drain is entirely made of stainless steel: cover, drain body and waste trap are made of 304 stainless steel.

There is a waste trap with 30 mm deep water seal integrated with the drain which will stop the smells from coming back to the shower room.

This drain is definitely suitable for a new build concrete floor. Please notice that it must be entirely covered with your floor finish material (if you use tiles on the rest of the floor, cover of the drain should be tiled as well).

I will be happy to answer any more of your questions.

Hi I am interested in a shower tray Duplach stone 3 D oak. But the size I require is 1650 mm 760mm do you stock the item or can this be made to the size. Please do not hesitate to contact me via email or telephone 07958 321904.

Dear Rob,

760 x 1650 is not one of standard size of Duplach trays, they also cannot be trimmed down to size, however it is possible to receive them in a bespoke size.

It would take longer to receive them and the price would also be increased, however it is possible.

I am going to prepare a personal quotation and send it to your email soon.

Kind regards

Hi, why does it say for the Linear drain Wiper 700 mm Premium Pure that the shower has to be at least 1m wide? Thanks

Dear Paul,

It needn't to be, it's our recommendation. 15 cm from each side will allow you to create 4 way slope easily. We do offer 1000 mm wide trays and they have 700 mm long drains as a standard.

In 1000 mm wide trays 800 and 900 mm drains would work fine, the space from the side of the drain to the wall would only be smaller. 1000 mm drain in fact is 1060 mm including surrounding insulation flange. You would need to install the drain under the wall or raise the walls on the flange but it would also be possible to install 1000 mm long drain in 1000 mm wide shower.

I will be happy to assist if you have any questions.

Hi, I bought a classic 500 3 years ago and am now redoing the floor in our showeroom and would like to have the classsic PURE that I tile onto. Are you able to supply this part without the waste and tray?

Dear Jamie,

Yes we can supply them without a trap and tray. Actually they are delivered without a tray by default.

To receive them, please buy them from our website and leave a note with your request during checkout, we will refund the waste traps price back to the same card you paid with after the order is placed.

Hello - your kit does not specify that it includes a key to tighten the waste pipe. Please confirm how this is done? Thanks

Hello,

The key works like a wrench, you just need to assemble all waste trap parts together and then push the key from above and turn it around few times.

It should tighten the screw and connection between the waste to the drain.

I will be happy to assist if you have any questions.

Information states drain grate is able to be tiled over and also it can be removed for cleaning, is this the case?

Dear Mel,

There are 2 metal parts, channel integrated to the board and removable cover. If the cover is tiled in, it can still be lifted with a special hook, which is always included.

I will be happy to help if you have any questions.

Kind regards
