Our wet room linear shower drains are made from grade 304 stainless steel and are available in a range of models with different lengths, body depth and channel width. With each linear drain comes a selection of grill cover styles to choose from that will suit your wet room. The selection of linear drains we supply are suitable for both concrete and timber floor installation. These linear shower drains can be ordered as a single unit or integrated into a preformed tray and can be placed in various positions within the shower area. We have a wide variety of wet room linear drains for you to choose from to help find the right linear drain for your project. Your chosen floor finish will determine the model of linear drain that is best suited for your wet room project.
We also offer a range of colour finishes for a select number of linear drains to help you match your wet room décor, with silver as standard, including black, brass or gold.
All of our linear shower drains come as a complete kit and once installed are designed for easy access to the channel and waste trap for cleaning and maintenance.
Where do I place my linear shower drain?
One of the greatest benefits of this type of linear drainage system is its flexibility and our wide selection to choose from. You can install a wet room linear drain practically anywhere in your wet room space, as they are incredibly versatile. This is an excellent option if you are working with tricky barriers and obstacles, such as joists or pipes.
Each linear drain channel has a central outlet that is connected to the supplied compatible waste trap that functions as the drainage system for your shower. If you find the outlet in the linear drain has an obstruction for the waste trap, we have multiple waste traps with different dimensions that can help with this. However, we also have a selection of Premium linear drains with an offset outlet for those really difficult projects.

How to choose the right linear drain?
Selecting in advance a suitable drain for your wet room shower to work with your chosen floor finish can help. You should consider the material floor finish, adhesive and any other materials being used, such as underfloor heating or Ditra mats. The total build up height of these materials will determine which linear drain is best suited to your project.
Our linear wet room kits are suitable for use with a wide range of floor finish materials, including wood, tile, mosaic concrete and even vinyl. We have a variety of drains that can accommodate not just different thickness of tile, but also drains designed for specific floor finishes. Our Invisible range which is perfect for micro cement or our VF linear drains that is specifically designed for a vinyl floor finish, due to its unique clamp feature.
At Wetrooms Design, we offer a wide variety of linear drain grill cover styles for all of our linear shower drains to suit your taste. Simply select the wet room linear drain kit that you require and select the appropriate decorative grate cover from our elegant range. Each linear drain is supplied with a default waste trap (McAlpine HC26). If you require a waste trap with different dimensions due to fitting space or a waste trap with a higher flow rate capacity, we have a selection to choose from that can be sent with your linear drain.
How to clean a linear shower drain?
Taking care of your linear drain is simple and does not require any complex cleaning. We supply every linear drain with a lifting key to remove the drain cover and also each and every waste trap we provide with our linear drain has a removable hair guard and column to gain access to and clean the inner part of the waste trap.
