The Resinbase Wiper 900 x 1700 MCR PVD Reversible Black presents a pioneering wet room tray tailored for microcement applications, featuring an integrated, specialised linear drain. This innovation not only boasts a robust and sturdy construction but also allows for unmatched height adjustability from 3 mm to 12 mm to seamlessly align with microcement thickness, essentially providing limitless customization. The tray is also compatible with resin and other similar floor surface finishes. It's uniquely compatible with underfloor heating systems, enhancing its versatility.

Constructed from XPS foam, the tray ensures excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, coupled with absolute waterproofing. The integration of the drain with the tray, further sealed and reinforced with a non-woven waterproof fabric and a resin layer, guarantees durability and a solid base. The design facilitates a consistent slope towards the drain from all angles, creating an efficient 1%-2% gradient for optimal water flow.

The highlight of this system is its advanced 600 mm PVD Reversible Black linear drain, equipped with a novel secondary drainage channel. Our Showerlay Elite trays have a unique double flow system. The trays linear drain frame and cover are the only visible parts of this system and is the primary drainage of any waste water. However, this raised section allows any water that manages to escape between any tiles or grout that are cracked to flow across the tray to its secondary drainage area, which is the trays embedded linear channel. This system working in concert with your waterproofing materials gives a combination of protection to your wet room that guarantees you will have no problems with water damage for a lifetime.

Adjustable frame height

The Showerlay Elite has a linear frame and cover that is adjustable from 8 mm to 50 mm in height. This allows for the total build up space you are working with that is required, including the tile thickness, adhesive and any additional materials used such as underfloor heating. We have a supply of multiple kits consisting of block spacers and the appropriate length screws to achieve various heights, all of which can be selected during the checkout process. If you decide to change your choice of tile or find the tiles you're using are a different thickness, we can supply the appropriate kit needed.

PVD coating

Physical Vapour Disposition (PVD) is a process carried out on a solid material to change its surface properties. This process not only improves the value and quality of the material, but also adds to its durability and overall protection. Unlike the powder coating process, which will fade and show signs of wear and tear, though chips and tarnishing, PVD coating is far superior to other coating methods used today and is also a certified environmentally friendly process. Our PVD coated drains have improved resistance to wear, corrosion and cleaning chemicals. Also, the coating is so thin, you will be able to see the chosen metal finish of your drain. Finally, you have the added benefit of a brilliant decorative colour and metal finish that will be easy to maintain for a lifetime.

Available colours

All of our Showerlay Elite drains are grade 304 stainless steel and PVD coated to give them an increased level of durability and resilience to corrosion, wear and tear, as well as a spectacular chosen colour. The linear drain frame and chosen cover will be the only parts visible after installation and will be the only parts that are PVD coated. We have a selection of four colours to choose from, all of which we have found to be the most requested when speaking to customers. The colours available are Brass, which is rising in popularity, Black, a new modern alternative to conventional bathroom decor, Gold, a timeless and prestigious decor that will never lose its style and Silver, the modern day use of this colour for fixtures means more choice when it comes to the style of each fixture.

Surface finishes

Each Showerlay Elite linear drain has an option of three different surface finishes. This means you can match your linear drain to all your bathroom fixtures not only by colour, but also by material finish. All four of our colour options have a choice of Brushed, Polished or a Matt finish. Brushed, is our standard option and comes at no added cost. It is also the most practical choice for its resistance to scratching. Polished, is a glossy finish, with a smooth and shiny surface, free of imperfection and reduces the risk of bacterial retention. Finally, Matt, is a non reflective and smooth finish. Its dull, smooth finished surface is a new trend that is growing in bathroom decor projects. Once installed, the only visible parts will be the linear drain frame and cover in your chosen colour and metal finish.

Complete Underfloor Heating Kit

It is possible to include a complete Underfloor Heating Kit to your order. All you need to do is to choose the required size. Additional package, with heating mat, appropriate thermostat, sensor and instructions will be dispatched together with the other goods.

To calculate required mat size you need to get square coverage of the floor and exclude any permanent / fixed fixtures from them. It is also recommended to buy slightly smaller mat than calculated size - you can shape it but cannot cut the cables, therefore too large mat could not be installed.

SUNFLOOR Underfloor Heating

The SUNFLOOR Electric Heating Mat is a unique type of floor heating mat. The system has been designed to be used on an existing tiled floor or an existing finished floor, so that floor heating can still be installed there. The mat is approximately 4 mm thick and can be included in a layer of adhesive without any demolishing or grinding. The mat fits virtually underneath the surface. This decreases the heating time of the floor, that also makes this system suitable for rooms that are not permanently occupied including bathrooms, studies, playrooms, etc.

Heating mat

Underfloor heating mat set consists of all necessary parts for installation. One Thermostat is needed for every 23 m² of heating mat. It is included as optional, to allow ordering mat for custom areas, for example if you need 13 m² of mat total, you should buy 10 m² with one of the thermostats set as include and 3 m² with thermostat not included. In case you require less mat coverage than possible to buy from our product pictures, for example 14.5 m² you should always round low with your purchase and buy 14 m² as the mat is impossible to cut. It can be shaped but not shortened to size.

Tanking liquid

The tanking liquid is a ready to use, single component, solvent-free sealant mass, consisting of polymer dispersion, fillers and additives. When applied to a substrate and cured, it forms a flexible waterproofing coating. The product is intended for use inside places intended for human residence, especially in humid areas (such as bathrooms, kitchens, laundries), to perform insulation against moisture under linings and coverings, such as ceramic tiles, glazed tiles, terracotta, wooden floors and panels, and synthetic carpets.

The product is intended for priming absorbent and porous surfaces, inside and outside buildings. It is especially recommended for cement - limestone plaster, gas concrete, plaster-carton boards and cement plaster. The primer has a high penetration ability, is deeply absorbed into the substrate, thus strengthening it, while allowing for „breathing”. These benefits improve the structure of the substrates, which, due to the passage of time, have lost their appropriate parameters. The priming solution improves adhesion to the surface of other materials that will be used on the primed substrate. By reducing the absorbency of the substrate, the wear of the applied coating materials, emulsion paints, glues, mineral putties reduces as well. The solution, due to the content of the biocide and fungicide, protects the primed substrate against the formation of mold and bacteria in the product.

The Wiper MCR is available in three different surface finishes. Polished, Brushed and Matt. This is great if you are looking for a specific finish to match the rest of your fixtures. The three finishes are available for all available colour options, However the Brushed finish is the standard option that comes at no extra charge. The visible parts of the drain (the cover and frame) will come in the desired finish.

Polished is a glossy finish. It has a smooth and shiny look that catches the eye. Characterized by a high degree of development, it's free from imperfections. There are numerous functional considerations, in addition to the visual appearance of polished stainless steel. Properly polished stainless steel looks good and helps to reduce the risk of bacteria being retained by the material when it is utilized in sanitary applications.

Brushed finish is a semi gloss finish. The key difference between brushed and polished stainless steel is that brushed stainless steel has a rough surface, whereas polished stainless steel has a smooth surface. Brushed stainless steel is a type of metal having a dull polish that is made through friction. It is the the most practical of the three as it is the most scratch resistant.

Matt is a dull finish. This is a very common stainless steel finish that is non-reflective and smooth in nature. The stainless steel is rolled through a special roller for a smooth, less pitted surface, before being descaled in an acid solution and polished for greater smoothness. It is commonly used for chemical and pharmaceutical equipment.
