Easy to fit, water resistant, insulation boards tile backer board that's just as effective on the wall as it is on the floor. Tiles should be installed on a backer board to keep the assembly stiff, otherwise the assembly will flex at the grout joints, allowing water to penetrate through the tile and rot the substrate. Tiling on backer board, will not only make fitting easier but will also prevent problems.
